Why Nova School of Social Sciences and Humanities?
The Nova School of Social Sciences and Humanities is an institution with a great reputation in the Portuguese higher education panorama and is a national and international reference for study and research in the social sciences and humanities. Depressa me senti em casa no campus da NOVA FCSH. Os docentes têm umrelacionamento próximo e procuram sempre proporcionar todo o apoio à concretização dos nossos objetivos, fornecendo-nos ferramentas para desenvolvermos a nossa investigação. Os serviços administrativos são simpáticos, prestáveis e respondem a todas as questões que, ao início, todos os estudantes estrangeiros têm. Todo o ambiente da NOVA FCSH é propício à aquisição de diferentes tipos de competências, alargando os horizontes académicos dos alunos.
I felt at ease on the Nova School of Social Sciences and Humanities campus right away. The professors develop good relationships with the students and are available to give you all the support you need to accomplish your tasks and to provide you with tools for further research. In terms of administrative services, the staff is friendly and willing to answer to all the questions I had in the beginning as a foreign student. The environment at the Nova School of Social Sciences and Humanities allows you to acquire different kinds of knowledge and to broaden your academic horizons.

É natural que os estudantes estrangeiros enfrentem vários problemas ligados aos estudos numa universidade de outro país, porém, as questões deste tipo parecem não existir na Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. Desde o início, todas as regras são explicadas claramente e quando alguma dúvida aparece, os serviços administrativos e os professores ajudam os alunos com muita simpatia. O ambiente do campus da NOVA FCSH é acolhedor e, também, por causa disso os estudantes vêm às aulas com vontade. Para os mais curiosos, a universidade oferece várias possibilidades de alargar os conhecimentos nas diferentes áreas.
It’s rather natural for foreign students to be confronted with several challenges related to their studies in a foreign university. However, this kind of matters seems not to happen at Nova School of Social Sciences and Humanities. From the very beginning, everything is clearly explained and, when a question arises, the staff and the professors are helpful and kind. The atmosphere at Nova School of Social Sciences and Humanities is warm and that’s also why students go to classes more willingly.
