BA in History (2002) and DEA (2006) in Prehistory and Archaeology at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (Spain). I obtained my Doctoral Degree (2010) by this same institution, being awarded with the Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado (2013).
After obtaining my doctorate, I was the recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Visiting Program (USA) and Fernand Braudel International Fellowship for Experienced Researchers Program (France) scholarships, which have allowed me to develop my research career at the Arizona State University (USA), the Université de Nantes and the CNRS (France).
Regarding my scientific production, I have built up an extensive list of publications (86), which includes 45 journal papers, 35 book chapters and 6 books or monographic issues. A total of 17 papers have been published in indexed journals, such as Quaternary International, Journal of Archaeological Science, Vegetation History and Archaeobotany or Cambridge Archaeological Journal. Among the edited monographs, 2 monographic volumes of indexed, peer-reviewed journals (Quaternary International and Lithic Technology) and 2 books published by Oxbow Books and Archaeopress (UK).
I have taken part in 43 conferences and congresses, 33 of them with an international scope. I have also organized or chaired a total of 8 congresses, symposia or meetings, 5 of them held in the framework of international venues. I have been involved in 17 research projects, 4 of them international.
