Presentation
The PhD in Gender Studies is the result of a association between theUniversity of Lisbon through the Institute of Social and Political Sciences(ISCSP) and the NOVA University of Lisbon through the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA FCSH) and the NOVA School of Law.
The PhD programme's mission is to contribute to the affirmation of Gender Studies as an autonomous scientific area of research and advanced training, preparing researchers in this domain and professionals, senior managers and leaders capable of analysing, in a critical and reflective way, themes related to gender issues and intervening on them in the most different sectors and social and political activities. It provides solid advanced training, preparing researchers for the production of high quality knowledge in the innovative area of gender studies.
Classes will take place in Lisbon, rotating between ISCSP-ULisboa, NOVA FCSH and the NOVA School of Law University of Lisbon.
In the academic year 2021/22, the host institution is NOVA FCSH, at the Colégio Almada Negreiros (Campolide Campus).
